About the event
A family-friendly career fair where students (grades 7–12), parents and jobseekers explore Ontario’s 140+ skilled trades through interactive demos, hands-on exhibits and conversations with tradespeople and local employers. It’s part of a province-wide initiative to showcase rewarding, stable career options in trades. In 2024, they toured 15 cities (including Oshawa, Mississauga, London) over several weeks, reaching over 35,000 attendees and nearly 200 exhibitors, with the goal of promoting well-paying, stable, and in-demand trade careers.
